Your Role & Responsibilities
👥 1. Contestant Recruitment
Your Mission: Recruit 50 Vibrant Contestants
- • Target female university students in Lagos (UNILAG, LASU, etc.)
- • Focus on students who are confident, expressive, and camera-ready
- • Promote the ₦180,000 weekly prize opportunity
- • Share enrollment links via your social media platforms
- • Direct interested participants to: @Naijabaz on Instagram
- • Ensure contestants understand the requirements (see Contestant Requirements section)
📹 2. Weekly Live Stream Hosting
Every Friday Evening - Live Show
- • Time: Every Friday at 10:00 PM WAT
- • Platform: NaijaBars Live + Your Instagram/TikTok (optional)
- • Duration: 30-45 minutes
- • Dress Code: Professional, vibrant, camera-ready
Live Show Agenda:
- Welcome & Recap (5 mins) - Greet audience, recap the week's challenge
- Highlight Top Performances (10 mins) - Showcase top 5 entries from leaderboard
- Winner Announcement (10 mins) - Reveal the weekly winner with excitement!
- Winner Interview (10 mins) - Brief chat with winner, collect bank details privately
- Next Week's Challenge (5 mins) - Announce next theme, motivate contestants
- Closing & Engagement (5 mins) - Answer questions, shoutouts
💰 3. Winner Payout Coordination
Your Role in Payouts:
- • During the live show, privately request winner's bank details
- • Collect: Bank Name, Account Number, Account Name
- • Forward bank details to NaijaBars admin via secure channel
- • Verify with winner once payment is completed (within 24-48 hours)
- • Note: All payments are processed by NaijaBars directly
Contestant Requirements
What We Expect from Each Contestant
📹 Video Performance Quality
- • Clear video quality (minimum 720p, smartphone quality accepted)
- • Good lighting - natural light or proper indoor lighting
- • Clear audio - audience must hear every word
- • Video length: 1-3 minutes maximum
- • Vertical format (9:16) preferred for social sharing
👗 Presentation & Outfit
- • Best performance outfit required
- • Professional, vibrant, and camera-ready
- • Dress to impress - this is a competition!
- • Traditional Nigerian attire encouraged but not mandatory
- • Confidence is key - own your performance!
🎤 Performance Content
- • Spoken word poetry in any Nigerian language (Pidgin, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, English)
- • Original content or interpretation of provided poems
- • Appropriate content only (no profanity, violence, or explicit material)
- • Passion and emotion - we want to feel your words!
- • Upload by Friday 10:00 PM deadline
📱 Social Media Engagement (Encouraged)
- • Share performances on TikTok/Instagram with tag @Naijabaz
- • Use hashtag #NaijaBarsTalent
- • Engage with fans to boost likes, views, tips
- • Higher engagement = higher leaderboard position
- • Social sharing is NOT mandatory but highly encouraged
⚠️ Important Note for You:
During recruitment, emphasize that contestants MUST upload videos in their BEST outfit and give their BEST performance. This is a high-stakes competition with real money on the line. Quality matters! Vibrant, confident, well-presented contestants will attract more engagement and make your live shows more exciting.
Weekly Timeline & Process
Monday - Thursday: Challenge Week
- • Contestants prepare and upload their video performances
- • Leaderboard updates in real-time based on likes, tips, views
- • You can post reminders and motivation on your socials
Friday (Deadline Day)
- • 10:00 PM WAT: Final submission deadline
- • 10:00 PM - 10:30 PM: You host the live winner announcement show
- • Leaderboard is frozen, winner is crowned live
- • Collect winner's bank details privately
Saturday - Sunday: Payout & Reset
- • NaijaBars processes payout within 24-48 hours
- • Winner receives ₦180,000 directly to their bank account
- • New challenge theme announced for next week
- • Cycle repeats!
Terms & Conditions
1. Partnership Duration
This partnership is ongoing with a minimum commitment of 3 months (12 weekly shows). Either party may terminate with 2 weeks written notice.
2. Payment Terms
Your fees will be paid monthly, within 5 business days after the end of each month. Payment includes recruitment fee (one-time) and hosting fees (weekly).
3. Content & Branding
You will represent NaijaBars professionally during all live shows and promotional content. You may cross-promote on your personal channels with proper attribution to NaijaBars.
4. Contestant Responsibility
NaijaBars is responsible for all prize payouts and platform management. You are responsible for recruitment, live show hosting, and collecting winner bank details. You are NOT responsible for processing payments.
5. Performance Standards
You agree to maintain high energy, professionalism, and punctuality for all live shows. Missing a scheduled show without 48-hour notice may result in fee adjustments.
6. Confidentiality
Winner bank details and all contestant personal information must be kept strictly confidential and shared only with NaijaBars admin through secure channels.
7. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes will be resolved amicably through discussion. If unresolved, matters will be handled in accordance with Nigerian law.
